Entrepreneurism Module
Week 1 – Building an Entrepreneurial Mindset
This week, I learned about Business as a Commercial System, Mindset Under Uncertainty, and Opportunity and Idea Quality. These topics helped me understand how businesses operate, how entrepreneurs make decisions in uncertain situations, and how to identify valuable business opportunities. This knowledge has improved my critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Week 2 – Creating Value for Customers
During this week, I explored First Market & Value Proposition, Positioning & Differentiation, and Lean Canvas & Business Model Canvas. I learned how businesses identify their target market, create value for customers, differentiate themselves from competitors, and develop a clear business model. These concepts will help me build and evaluate business ideas more effectively in the future.
Week 3 – Testing Business Ideas
This week focused on Lean Startup, Minimum Viable Product (MVP), Experiment Design, and Minimum Viable Runway. I learned how businesses test ideas before making major investments and how financial planning supports long-term success. These lessons taught me the importance of reducing risk through validation and careful resource management.
Week 4 – Pricing Strategy
This week, I studied Tactical Pricing and learned how pricing strategies influence customer decisions, profitability, and business growth. Understanding pricing techniques will help me make informed business decisions in future projects.
Week 5 – Product Range Management
I learned how businesses expand from a single product to a complete product range by studying From Single Offer to Designed Range, Reading the Category Mix, and Building and Managing the Range. This enhanced my understanding of product portfolio management and strategic planning.
Week 7 – Market Entry and Sales
In this week, I learned about Go-to-Market (GTM) Strategy, Customer Acquisition, Sales, and Negotiation. These topics showed me how businesses successfully introduce products to the market, attract customers, and build strong relationships through effective communication and negotiation. These skills will be valuable throughout my career in business.
